According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Gordon is planning to produce a remake of Don't Look Now for Paramount Pictures.

The 1973 film, directed by Nicolas Roeg and based on a story by Daphne Du Maurier, created a sensation in the early '70s thanks to a highly erotic love scene featuring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. Andrea Berloff will write the screenplay for the adaptation, which centers on a couple, John and Laura Baxter, who go to Venice, Italy, to recuperate after the sudden death of their daughter only to encounter strange visions that suggest their daughter's presence.

Gordon said that Berloff's script will contemporize the 1973 version, which was penned by Allen Scott and Chris Bryant. "The original was very atmospheric, so we'll provide a little more of the narrative that audiences expect," he added.

McLaughlin said he was attracted to the project by its basic focus on a couple dealing with their grief. "I don't think there's been a film that deals more intelligently with the loss of a child," he said.

Roooh la la laaaaa... Tout est dit.

On va avoir droit à quoi ? Des plans qui speedent soudainement ? Une petite fille aux longs cheveux recouvrant son visage ? des flashes subliminaux ? L'explosion du pont des soupirs sous 18 angles différents et au ralenti ? Don't ever look at this ça devrait s'appeler...

En tous cas moi j'expect que dalle...
