Afin de ne pas perdre les droits de la franchise, Dimension lance en vitesse le chantier d'une 7e séquelle du pourtant pas terrible "Horror Kid"/"Les démons du maïs". Perso, je ne savait pas qu'il y en avait autant, je savais que je ne les avais pas tous vu mais perso je n'ai pas été plus loin que le trois. Ici c'est Joel Soisson qui s'y colle (Maniac Cop 3, Prophecy 4 et 5, Pulse 2 et 3.... un mec qui a de la suite dans les idées....) sur un script de Joel Soisson. Un film d'auteur quoi. Et c'est avec Billy Drago. Insider reported that Children of the Corn: The Dweller needed more ‘Children of the Corn’ (get it?) so there’s a prologue being filmed to be set in Nebraska. Casting agents are on the lookout for a “male, Caucasian, 9-11 years old, slight build, with longish hair” to play “a young killer in the making. He brandishes a knife while dressed in his mother’s dresses and a wig. He also wears lipstick.” This is one franchise that started off so strong and was completely ruined by the suits! Get this, the studio who is making this film is only doing so, so they don't lose the rights! What do y'all think about that? Synopsis: TIM and ALLIE are heading out of LA and into the very warm California desert environs to see TIM's father.
