Life's Too Short is an observational sitcom series currently in development. It is created and written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, from an idea by Warwick Davis, and is described by Gervais as about "the life of a showbiz dwarf", with Davis playing a fictionalised version of himself. Gervais and Merchant will appear in cameos as themselves.[1] The show will air on BBC Two starting November 10, 2011.[2][3] Premium cable channel, HBO has picked up the US rights and will air the series in 2012.[4]
