Steve Posté(e) le 5 février 2013 Share Posté(e) le 5 février 2013 Bloody Disgusting has received exclusive first word that Olivier Abbou, Xavier Gens, Lucile Hadzihalilovic, Pascal Laugier, Talal Selhami, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo have all been tapped for The Theatre Bizarre 2: Grand Guignol, Severin’s sequel to their incredible colorful anthology that’s set to shoot later this year. “After the critical success of the first Theatre Bizarre anthology, it felt only natural to follow yp with another serving of more over-the-top, brutal, visionary, envelope-pushing tales. And this time, carte blanche was given to the creme de la creme of French directors, who were all very happy to take Grand Guignol back to its original birthplace.” The entirely French sequel features some of the countries best talents, including Frontier(s)‘ Xavier Gens (still in talks), Inside and Livide‘s Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, Territories‘ Olivier Abbou, Enter the Void writer Lucile Hadzihalilovic, and Martyrs director Pascal Laugier.
