Depuis quelques semaines, nous savons que le long-métrage Sin city aura droit à une suite et que le scénario de celle-ci est déjà en pleine phase d’écriture par Frank Miller (cf. news du 18 mai 2005). Présent au 58ième festival de Cannes où le film concourrait en compétition, le réalisateur Robert Rodriguez a précisé que cette suite verrait le retour de nombreux personnages du premier film et que le scénario serait basé sur le second comics de la série imaginée par Frank Miller et intitulé J’ai tué pour elle, l’histoire d’une femme fatale, mariée à un riche homme d’affaires et qui va demander de l’aide à son grand amour de jeunesse en prétendant que son époux la bat. http://www.ecranlarge.com/news-cinema-638.php

c'est ca qui est sympa. C'est que Carpenter le fait ouvertement et surtout que ca reste fun de bout en bout. Voir un pseudo Che Guevara avec une boule à facette dans sa voiture, moi j'adore. Tout le film est digne d'un comics.

Sacré Carpenter ... il arrive à faire croire aux détracteurs que seuls les 30 dernières secondes sont importantes pour les fans ... il est fort. Tout le film est un massacre en règle de son personnage, de la société américaine etc ... je me souviens qu'en sortant du cinéma je m'étais dis qu'il fallait être complétement fou pour produire ce genre de film. Car il reste bien fun en plus. Mais bon j'adore lire les critiques des gens qui "ont vu le faux côté anar de Carpenter qui plait aux faux jeunes anars" etc etc ...

Escape from LA où comment Carpenter explose un mythe qui n'a plus rien à faire dans cette société.. Chef d'Oeuvre absolu pour moi !!!!!
