According to Screen Daily, the studio is negotiating to distribute the domestic release, 2012-ish: The Day The Earth Bent Over. The $25 million film, formerly titled Armageddagainwas written by Robert Monoit and Travis Oates, for Monoit to direct from. The film revolves around a young scientist who strives to save the planet from a growning number of global catastrophes and must deal with a bumbling President of the United States and an unhinged NASA commander. The film will be shot in Louisiana and will begin production on March 9.
