Due out at the end of 2008 Le scénario est signé Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy Vs Jason). Et c'est toujours produit par Sean S. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the writers of Freddy Vs. Jason will be writing the script for the remake. No official word on if Jonathan Liebesman will still be directing the film. The film is said to explore Jason's origins and get him into his hockey mask, even though he didn't wear it until the third installment in the original series. Il s'agirait donc d'un pseudo remake.Mais si c'est un remake où Jason chope un masque de hockey, c'est pas vraiment un remake.
