FebioFest 2008

Du 27 mars au 4 avril à Prague.

 

Le festival fêtera ses 15 ans, et pour la première fois accueillera une competition. 16 films seront en competition, et le réalisateur gagnant repartira avec 5000 euros. 5000 autres euros repartiront dans une aide à la distribution pour la République Tchèque.

 

Sinon comme traditionnellement, pres de 300 films seront projetés en 8 jours, ainsi qu'une 50-aine de concerts et d'expos. 140 000 visiteurs ont répondu présent l'année dernière.

 

Le premier invité confirmé sera le suédois Roy Andersson.

 

Les tickets seront toujours vendus au tarif de 79 couronnes (3 euros) - 39 couronnes pour les videos et les séances jeunes (1,5 euros).

 

Le festival disposera d'un budget de 20 millions de couronnes (800 000 euros) principalement payé par les sponsors (Ville de Prague, Banque CSOB, et le groupe pharmaceutique Zentiva). L'aide du ministère de la culture n'a pas encore approuvé à l'heure qu'il est.

Beaucoup de trucs alléchants dans les American Independants (déjà vu le très bon Joshua, mais le David Gordon Greene, le Zoe Cassavettes, le Justin Theroux, et Black Snake Moan miam).

 

Les films gays et lesbiens, là encore, ça va être un peu au pif, à moins que les connaisseurs aient des suggestions.

 

La thailande en force dans la catégorie asiat. Mais également le nouveau Kitano !

 

On va pouvoir fanfaronner et "truculer" du côté du cinéma des balkans.

 

Seance de rattrapage ou simplement avant-premieres sympas du côté du ciné anglosaxon avec le controversé De Palma (Redacted), There Will Be Blood, Assassination of Jesse James, Gone Baby Gone, le Paul Haggis, et le apparemment excellent Ten Canoes dont on m'avait déjà beaucoup dit de bien.

 

La section Cinema Extreme, va falloir voir ce que ça donne. Et la section "films de procès", ça tabasse un max

 

Le reste, on va y aller à la bonne franquette. Je rajoute juste "Mongol" dans les impératifs à voir. Quant à Isild Le Besco
