Steve Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Allan, je m'en voulais pour la news d'hier, donc en voila une bonne pour toi Source : JoBlo A trio of directors will gather to tell stories set in Japan's megacity and de facto capital for a project tentatively and appropriately titled TOKYO. Why should you care? Well, one of the directors is Michel Gondry, the visionary behind ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP, not to mention a whole load of music videos. And his segment will be accompanied by a piece from South Korean director Bong Joon-ho, the man behind the monster on the minor masterpiece THE HOST. The other guy? His name is Leos Carax, and I'm not familiar with his work but he must've done something right to land in that sort of company. Not much is known about the eventual movie other than it'll involve people existing in the titular metropolis, and should certainly make for compelling visuals given the talent at the camera (two French dudes and a South Korean should have an interesting perspective on Tokyo life).
